Dennis is also currently the President of Policy and Compliance of Internet DotTrademark Organisation Ltd. (The DotTrademark Registry) and a Council Member of Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC). He has been an advocate of Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), domain name dispute resolution, and dispute avoidance for almost two decades in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and the Asia region.

Dennis is being listed as a domain name panelist by arbitration bodies in Hong Kong, Beijing, Seoul, and Malaysia, and has decided over 30 domain name disputes as sole panelist, presiding panelist, and co-panelist.

He started his career in dispute resolution in 2004, serving an executive position for Hong Kong International Arbitration (HKIAC), Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC), and eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution (eBRAM). He has been actively working with international organisations as a committee member, observer, or volunteer for domain name, online trademark protection and dispute resolution matters. These organisations include United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITTRAL) Working Group III,   Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), International Trademark Association (INTA), and China Trademark Association (CTA).

In year 2006, he took the lead in revamping the online domain name dispute resolution system in Hong Kong. He was also involved in ODR platform  development for other dispute resolution bodies in Hong Kong.

Dennis has memberships with professional bodies, including the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (HKIArb), Licensing Executive Society China (Hong Kong Sub-Chapter), and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD).

He is currently a Ph.D candidate in the School of Law of City University of Hong Kong, and holds two master’s degrees, respectively, L.L.M. (W.T.O. and Globalization Laws) and M.A. in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution. He has delivered 120+ public presentations, lectures, and training sessions in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas. He authored and co-authored more than 20 articles, chapters, and case reports on various subjects of dispute resolution.
